Beginning in 2026, Arc'teryx will be utilizing Ambercycle’s cycora® regenerated materials as part of a broader effort to advance circularity.

Los Angeles, California and North Vancouver, Canada October 29, 2024 —Ambercycle has announced a strategic partnership with Canadian high-performance outdoor brand Arc'teryx to drive material innovation in the performance apparel sector.

The partnership will see Arc’teryx utilizing Ambercycle’s  cycora® regenerated materials in its product lines. This material commitment marks a pivotal step toward commercializing Ambercycle's groundbreaking molecular regeneration technology and making cycora® more accessible across the apparel supply chain.

Arc'teryx has committed to Net Zero emissions by 2050 or sooner, requiring a 90% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG)emissions and a 42% reduction in absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 2030. Known for creating durable, long-lasting products, these targets underline Arc’teryx’s commitment to minimizing product impact through circularity.

cycora®, derived from end-of-life textiles, plays a crucial role in helping Arc'teryx achieve these ambitious targets by delivering high-quality, durable products made from circular, decarbonized materials.

“As an innovation-driven company, Ambercycle is always exploring new frontiers in material regeneration and circularity,” says Shay Sethi, CEO of Ambercycle. “Partnering with a forward-thinking leader like Arc’teryx allows both teams to challenge conventional approaches and drive even greater impact.  Together, we are exploring the potential for a truly circular future.”

This partnership underscores bridging obsessive design and material excellence as both companies demonstrate how closed-loop circular solutions can scale for even the most durably designed high-performance apparel.

“Arc’teryx is committed to disruptive evolution. Through the continual pursuit of perfection in design, we believe there’s always a better way forward. Ambercycle shares our vision for evolution through circularity, and we’re excited to explore the use of cycora® regenerated materials in our product line,” said Katie Becker, Chief Creative Officer at Arc’teryx.
