In late October, stakeholders from across the fashion supply chain — spanning farms, factories, and brand offices — gathered in Los Angeles to drive the transition to circularity. The Textile Exchange’s annual conference served as a pivotal forum for addressing the industry’s most pressing challenges and opportunities.

This year’s event bridged the gap between sustainability goals and actionable solutions, with attendees addressing the challenges of scaling circular systems. The discussions highlighted a collective readiness to move from ambition to tangible impact.

As the title sponsor, we brought our expertise to the table, driving forward the collaboration and innovation needed to make circularity a scalable reality. Progress is no longer theoretical — it’s happening now, one step at a time.

Cocktail Reception

We opened the conference with a cocktail reception at Ambercycle HQ, bringing together brands, mill partners, and industry leaders for an evening of collaboration and discovery. Guests had the opportunity to explore our molecular regeneration lab and discover cycora®’s newest fabric library, Performance in Harmony with Nature.

The evening provided a platform to share Ambercycle’s founding story, showcasing the journey from our earliest breakthroughs to our current scaling efforts. Artifacts like our first-ever cycora® bike jersey were on display, alongside visual narratives that illustrated the progress we’ve made in transforming cycora® into a scalable solution for fashion brands.

We also highlighted the collections that already feature cycora®, including partnerships with INDITEX, Reformation, and GANNI, underscoring how our textile-to-textile regenerative polyester is enabling the transition to scaled circular materials. The event celebrated milestones while underscoring our progress and momentum toward the future of fashion.

Leading the Conversation: Panels and Workshops

This year’s conference theme, The Case for Change, emphasized the critical need to accelerate the transition to circularity. Ambercycle led two key sessions, driving discussions on innovative solutions and actionable pathways.

Building Equitable Partnerships: Moderated by award-winning journalist for The Guardian and Atmos, Whitney Bauck, explored how equity-driven partnerships are essential to scaling circular practices across the fashion supply chain..

Scaling Feedstock Solutions: Moderated by sustainability leader Christine Goulay, with participation from and Patty Stapp from Lululemon,  this workshop-style session tackled the complexities of feedstock collection and processing at scale. Shay Sethi, Ambercycle’s CEO, shared insights into the evolution of our feedstock strategy — from grassroots scrap collection in Los Angeles to building a global infrastructure ready to support commercial-scale production.

Both sessions united recyclers, logistics experts, innovators, and brands to tackle systemic challenges in circularity. These discussions not only highlighted the progress being made but also pointed toward new opportunities to transform fashion’s supply chain from the ground up.

Additional Highlights

At our booth, attendees explored Ambercycle’s molecular regeneration technology, which transforms waste into virgin-grade polyester. Highlights included an showcase of our latest cycora® product launches, including the new Reformation x cycora® products. Our team engaged with participants throughout the event, facilitating conversations and strengthening the momentum for circularity.

Ambercycle was featured in Unwoven Magazine and a case study collection at the event. A Q&A with CEO Shay Sethi highlighted our molecular regeneration technology, while a case study showcased how our partnership with GANNI has strengthened supply networks and scaled cycora® production. These features emphasized our leadership in driving circularity forward.

For Ambercycle, the conference reaffirmed that circularity is inevitable. We’re committed to driving this transition toward a sustainable future.
